Equipment available in the classrooms
Most Link rooms have some technology as a built-in feature of the room. Available technology includes:
- Ceiling Projection (including multiple projection in Classroom 5)
- Flat-screen LCD screens
- Videoteleconferencing
- Region-free DVD / CD player
- Document cameras / visualizers
- VHS players
- iPod / auxiliary wall connection support
- Desktop computer at instructor station
- 25 high-end computer workstations (available in Classroom 6)

Equipment available for general circulation
Portable equipment for the classroom can be reserved by contacting the Service Desk.
- Document cameras / visualizers
- PRS personal response system clickers
- 3 laptop carts: 2 carts with 20 PC tablets each (40 tablets total,) 1 cart with 20 Macbook pros
- eInstruction Portable Panels: LCD screens that allow you to write on the screen directly and project your output
- eInstruction Wireless Pad: wireless control panel that allows you to write on your display from any point in the room
- eInstruction rolling Smart Board: portable rolling smart whiteboard that allows you to write and capture content for later retrieval.
- Mimeo Wireless Capture: portable device that attaches to wall-talker surfaces to turn projected content into a smartboard, letting you capture your work for later retrieval.
- Portable teleconferencing unit: Conduct a phone conference from any room in the Link.
Equipment available through the Duke Digital Initiative includes webcams, Flip cameras, standard and high-definition video cameras, video conferencing software, iPods and other tools. DDI frequently updates their website with information about their opportunities, as well as support for existing tools. DDI equipment circulates Monday through Friday from the service desk.
